Wilna Fay (Mehaffy) Liles

Wilna Liles, 89, of Winfield, passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at her home in Winfield.  Private services will be held at a later date.  A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in her memory.  Online condolences may be left at www.sandhfuneralservice.com. The Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Winfield is caring for the family and arrangements.

Wilna F. Mehaffy was born on October 31, 1935 in Burlington, the daughter of Glen and Lela (Stokes) Mehaffy.  On December 7, 1957, she was united in marriage to Hallet Liles at the Little Brown Church in Nashua.  Wilna enjoyed gardening, going to yard sales, canning and going “window shopping”.  She took great pride in her flower beds.  Most of all, Wilna enjoyed spending time with her family.

Wilna will be deeply missed by her children; Hazel (Dan Raymond) Stoderl of Wayland, David (Lisa) Liles of Wayland and Jospeh (Amy) Liles of Winfield; grandchildren, Jennifer, Joshua, Daniel, Hope, Andrew and Kayla; 17 great-grandchildren and brother, John Mehaffy.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Carl Mehaffy; grandson, Zachery Liles; and great-grandson, Justis Liles.
