Will Wehage, 70, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2020 at his home in Sperry.  Services will be held at a later date. A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in memory of Will.  The Snyder and Hollebaugh Funeral and Cremation Services of Mediapolis is caring for the family’s arrangements.  Sympathy notes may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.

Wilfred M. Wehage was born on May 7, 1950 in Burlington, the son of Clarence and Lucile (Wilson) Wehage.  He enlisted in the United States Army during Vietnam to help save the family farm.  Will was united in marriage to June Woods in October of 1999 in Las Vegas.  Will had worked at Patrick’s True Value in Wapello and had just retired Champion in Burlington.  He enjoyed dancing with his wife at the VFW in Wapello.  Will liked to keep busy. He was always in the garage fixing trucks, tractors or mowers.  Will also enjoyed camping, fishing, mushroom hunting, playing cards and going with his friends on various hunts, including bears in Canada.  Most of all, Will loved to spend time with his family.  He was a hard worker and would help anyone.  He will be remembered as the best husband, father, grandpa, great-grandpa and friend you could ask for.

Will will be deeply missed by his wife, June of Sperry; son, Andy Wehage of Wapello; step-daughter, Tiffiny (Don) Pool of Williamsfield, IL, step-son, Allen (Danielle) Woods of Pierpont, OH; grandchildren, Ashlyn, Cayle, Emma, Cooper, Nick. Amber, CJ, Jacob, Michaela, John, Carmin, Michelle, Akeely and Allen; eight great-grandchildren; siblings, Roger (Patti) Wehage of Chillicothe, IL, Pat Patrick of Wapello, Norine Hankemeier of LaMotte, and Roma Feltz of Sperry many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Ervin Wehage.
