Wanda M. Mosena, 90, of Oakville, passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2021, at Colonial Manor in Columbus Junction. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 24, 2021, at the Snyder and Hollenbaugh Funeral and Cremation Services in Wapello. Burial will be in the Parson’s Cemetery. Following the committal services at the cemetery, a time of food and fellowship will be held at the Oakville Community Center. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. with family present from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Wanda Marie Malcom was born on March 1, 1930, in Oakville, Iowa the daughter of Richard and Elsie (Tesh) Malcom. She was a graduate of Oakville High School. She was united in marriage to Donovan Patterson in Oakville. Following the passing of Donovan, Wanda was united in marriage to Jerry Mosena. She worked as a telephone operator, then Sylvania and retiring from Lamont Limited in Burlington. She also worked for Buttons and Bows in Wapello for 17 years. Wanda was a member of the Oakville Legion Auxiliary and was of the Methodist faith. She enjoyed bowling and spending time with her family.
Wanda will be deeply missed by her children, Kyla Logsdon of Oakville, Gayla Harshaw of Oakville, Malcom (Julie) Patterson of Oakville and Cindy (Brent) Stevens of Danville; ten grandchildren; many great grandchildren and many great-great grandchildren.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; two daughters, Marcia Lincoln and Darla Patterson; five great grandchildren and one great-great grandchildren.
