Virginia Hewitt, 79, of Mediapolis, passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2022 at the
SE Iowa Regional Medical Center in West Burlington. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Sympathy messages can be left for the family at www.sandfuneralservice.com. Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Mediapolis are caring for Virginia’s arrangements.

Virginia May Kellogg was born on July 5, 1942, in Lockman, IA, the daughter of Lewis and Margaret (Scully) Kellogg. Virginia was a waitress at various restaurants for many years. She enjoyed painting, sewing and crafts.
Virginia will be deeply missed by her children, Brian (Dawn) Hewitt of Argyle, Lavinia (Vicki) Ray of Fulton, AL, Lana (John) Jefferson of Keokuk, and Travis (Raymond) Hewitt of Mediapolis; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, William (Sharry) Kellogg of Albia; sisters, Marjorie Kellogg of Ottumwa and Maryellen Kellogg of Fremont, and many nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Orville, Jack, Butch and Jim; sisters, Lula Mortley and Bernice Harmon; sister-in-infancy, Shirley and a brother-in-infancy.
