Victoria "Vicky" Linn (Martin) Thorpe

Victoria L. “Vicky” Thorpe, 63, of Muscatine, passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2025 at her home.  A celebration of life gathering will be held on May 4, 2025 from 12:00 P.M. - ?? at Corky’s Garage, 1903 Roby Avenue, Muscatine, Iowa.   Inurnment will be held at a later date in Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery.  Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services is caring for the arrangements.  A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in Vicky’s name. Victoria Linn Martin was born on December 10, 1961 in Muscatine, Iowa the daughter of Ivan L. and Linda L. (Proctor) Martin.  Vicky was a 1980 graduate of Muscatine High School. On December 27, 1986, Vicky was united in marriage to her soulmate, Jack L. Thorpe, Jr. in Muscatine, Iowa.   Vicky was a caregiver by nature, devoting her life to creating a loving home for her family, caring for her children, grandchildren, and parents in their older years.  She loved decorating her home, being a grandma and loving on her dogs.

 Vicky will be deeply missed by her soulmate, Jack Thorpe, Jr; three sons, Charles ‘Charlie” (Jamie) Charlier of Maquoketa, Dustin “Duddy” Charlier of Muscatine and Cody Thorpe of Cedar Rapids; eight grandchildren; mother, Linda Martin of Muscatine and brothers, Tim (Karen) Martin and Dave (Tara) Martin all of Muscatine. 

Vicky was preceded in death by her father and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
