Vickie Hafner, 72, of Grandview, passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at her home. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, July 6, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Muscatine American Legion. Memorials may be left to the Holden Cancer Center in Iowa City in memory of Vickie. The Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral and Cremation Services of Muscatine is caring for her arrangements. Vickie Sue Irick was born on April 16, 1953 in Muscatine, Iowa the daughter of Thomas Irick and Mildred (Franklin) Irick Sell. She received her Associates Degree from Muscatine Community College. On December 1, 1994 she was united in marriage to Michael Hafner. She worked in marketing at Bandag and later as an office assistant at the Lone Tree Care Center before retiring. Vickie enjoyed traveling, having been to all 48 states in her motorhome; researching genealogy and most all, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Vickie will be deeply missed by her husband, Michael of Grandview; children, Gary Crumly of Mississippi, Kyle Crumly of Grandview and Amanda Crumly of Muscatine; step-children, Michael (Teresa) Hafner Jr. of Letts and Kelvin (Stephanie) Hafner of Panora; grandchildren, Kayla St. John, Dustin Crumly, Corbin Burns, Joslin Crumly, Drew Hafner and Ethan Hafner; siblings; Perry (Rhonda) Shannon of Letts, Steve (Sherry) Shannon of Muscatine, Dennis (Debbie) Shannon of Muscatine, Tanya (Dave Toby) Irick of New Boston, Jim (Dorie) Sell of Muscatine, Randy (Cheryl) Sell of Muscatine and Howard Irick New Boston; many nieces, nephews and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Daphne Crumly; brothers, Randy and Kim Irick
