Tony Gann, 64, of Letts, passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2025, at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Muscatine. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Cranston Cemetery. Following the committal service, a time of food and fellowship will be held at the Snyder & Hollenbaugh Community Room. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in memory of Tony. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.
Tony Joseph Gann was born on April 7, 1961, in Burlington, Iowa the son of Robert Clyde and Sally Mae (Petty) Gann. He attended L&M High School. Tony worked in construction, a mechanic and a farmer throughout life. He enjoyed farming, working on 4-wheelers, going to the casino to play slots, being with his family and friends, but most of all spending time with his grandchildren.
Tony will be deeply missed by his life partner of 37 years, Tammy Douglas of Letts; his children, Claire Gann and partner, Mac Marple of Cedar Rapids, Stephanie Gann of Muscatine, Ashley McKillip and fiancé, Richard Brockert of Muscatine, Zachary (Aubrie) McKillip of Wilton, Joanna Gann of Muscatine and Michael and Tiffany; many grandchildren including Hikara Gann, Hunter McLoughlin and Emily McLoughlin; many great grandchildren; siblings, Robert “Gene” (Lauri) Gann of Muscatine and Annette Gann of Durant; special aunt, Lou Greene of Grandview and mother-in-law, Linda Douglas of Muscatine.
Tony was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Roger Gann; nephew, Josh Connor; father-in-law, Roger Douglas and step father-in-law, Pete Belokopitovs.
