Tina Ball Obituary

Tina Ball, 57, of Muscatine passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2026 at her home surrounded by her family, friends and beloved dog.   According to Tina’s wishes her body has been donated to the University of Iowa Deeded Body Program to help further the medical education and research of others.  A Celebration of Life for Tina will be held from11l:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at Sal Vitale's Restaurant on Park Avenue in Muscatine.    A memorial has been established for the Muscatine Humane Society in Tina’s name.  Sympathy notes may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.   Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Muscatine is caring for Tina’s arrangements. 

Tina L. Ford was born on July 3, 1968, in Macomb, Illinois, the daughter of Rex and Joan (Byerly) Ford.  Tina was a 1986 graduate of Macomb High School and went on to Robert Morris Junior College and Western Illinois University.  She received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Iowa to teach dental assisting to others.   On March 10, 2001, Tina was united in marriage to Randy Ball at the Wesley United Methodist Church in Muscatine.  Tina spent many years of her working career at Scott Community College where she began the dental assistant program.  She most recently and currently was working at the University of Iowa in the pediatric wing assisting special needs children and dental assistants in the College of Dentistry.  Tina enjoyed restoring/redoing furniture, biking, running, interior design, history and the love for her dog.  

Tina will be deeply missed by her husband, Randy Ball of Muscatine; daughter, Danielle Wolfe (Josh Greenley) of Muscatine; step-children, Meredith (Kirk) Logan of North Liberty, Alex Ball of Letts and Trace (Angie) Ball of West Des Moines; six step-grandchildren, Korbyn, Jaxyn, Preslie, Camdyn, Wyatt and Sawyer; her father, Rex Ford of Bardolph, Illinois; her twin siblings, Chris Ford of Canton, Missouri and Jenni (Steve) Schmitz of Macomb; nieces, Olivia, Allison and Jodi; nephew, Brad Ford; mother-in-law, Nancy Christofferson of Texas; her grand fur babies, Annie and June; many loving cousins and her beloved work family at the University of Iowa.   

Tina was preceded in death by her mother, Joan Ford; brother, Danny Ford and father-in-law, Donald Ball.
