Timothy “ Tim” King, 67, of Burlington, passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at the Great River Hospice House following a brief battle with cancer. No services or visitation will be held at this time. The Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Mediapolis is in care of the arrangements. Timothy Howard King was born on April 16, 1957 in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, the son of Augustus and Ruby (Edwards) King. On April 30, 1977, Tim was united in marriage to Nina (English) in Simi Valley, California. Tim had worked for Lockheed Martin’s Skunk Works for many years and also owned and operated his own carpentry business, T.H. Kings Construction. In his free time he enjoyed doing carpentry and crafting stained glass pieces.
Timothy will be deeply missed by his wife, Nina King of Burlington; children, Bryan (Melissa) King of Washington and Katherine (Shaun) Beutner of California; 7 grandchildren and one sister, Andrea Warren of Texas.
Timothy was preceded in death by his parents; son, Nicholas King and sisters, Debra and Cathy.
