Timothy H. Hill

Timothy Hill, 74, of Coralville, passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at the Washington County Hospital after a long and courageous battle with spindle cell sarcoma and superior vena cava syndrome (SVCS).  There will be no visitation or funeral service at this time.  A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in memory of Tim.  Online condolences may be left at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.  The Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Lone Tree is caring for Tim's family and arrangements.

Timothy Herbert Hill was born on November 7, 1953, in Iowa City, Iowa the son of Arthur Eugene and Coral Rose (Cook) Hill.  He was a graduate of Lone Tree High School and remained a lifelong resident of Johnson County.  Tim was a skilled custom home builder, known for his strong work ethic and attention to detail.  He especially loved custom woodwork and took great pride in his craftmanship.  In his free time, Tim enjoyed golfing, football and cars, interests that brought him both relaxation and happiness throughout his life. 

Tim is survived by his son, Christian Hill of Riverside; daughter, Heather Hill of Iowa City; stepsons, Shane Goss of Oxford and James Christianson of Coralville; grandchildren, Taylor Hill, Colton Hill, Kayleigh Sutton and Jonathon Sutton and two brothers, Steve Hill and dan Hill, both of Arizona.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents.
