Tim J. Schwab

Tim Schwab, 53, of Muscatine, passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at his home.  A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, September 25, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Jesus Mission with a time of food and fellowship to follow.  A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in Tim’s name.  Snyder and Hollenbaugh Funeral and Cremation Services of Muscatine is caring for the family. Timothy John Schwab was born on June 6, 1967 in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Melvin Schwab and Elizabeth Samuelson. On May 13, 2005, Tim was united in marriage to Joanne Cook, they later divorced.  Growing up, Tim was a member of the Boy Scouts.  He later was a member of the Jaycees for many years.   Tim enjoyed motorcycles, cheering for the Pittsburgh Steelers and listening to Ozzy Osbourne.  He could often be found volunteering at the Jesus Mission.

Tim will be deeply missed by his children; Joseph Schwab, Katilynn Schwab and Amanda Birch, all of Muscatine; siblings, Glenda (Sheldon) Drake of Midland, TX, Melissa (Scott) McDaniel of Wapello, Jason Samuelson of Muscatine, Bill (Kay) Miller of Muscatine, Helen (Todd Strause) Buckryod of Muscatine, June (Daniel) Davis of Green River, WY, Julie (Merle) Sterner of Lebanon, MO, Mike (the late Patty) Sanuelson of Muscatine, Pam (Jim) Paul of Letts, Craig (Cathy) Samuelson of Muscatine; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and his best friend, Brett Kranz.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nancee Miller, Melvin Schwab, Melvin and Elizabeth Samuelson; brothers, Jeff, Kenny, Joe; and sister, Megan.
