Shirley Goodwin, 68, of Muscatine, passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024 at UnityPoint Health – Trinity Muscatine.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  The Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral and Cremation Services of Muscatine is caring for the family.  Online condolences may be left at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.  Memorials may be left to the family in memory of Shirley. 

Shirley Jean Moore was born September 17, 1955 in Muscatine, the daughter of Robert “Junior” and Shirley (Corporon) Moore.  On December 29, 2001, she was united in marriage to Donald Goodwin in Muscatine.  She worked in housekeeping at Lutheran Living for many years.  Shirley loved Bingo, Yahtzee, dice, scratch tickets and riding on the back of her sister’s motorcycle.  Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Shirley will be deeply missed by her children, Jeremy (Connie) Long and April Hernandez, both of Muscatine; grandchildren, Robert, William, Trenton, Katie, Brandon. Leroy, Gabriel, Jozlin, Anthony, Samantha and Jesse; 12 great-grandchildren; siblings, Jane Mosely of Muscatine, Rocky (Kathy) Moore of Muscatine, Patricia Carter of Muscatine and Vernon Allen of Muscatine, Ruth Ann Lucas of Muscatine, Robert (Janice) Moore of Aledo, IL, Larry Moore of Florida, James Moore of Muscatine; step-mother, Connie Moore of Muscatine; step-sister, Theresa (Lloyd) Havemann of Muscatine;  and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Shirley is preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Steven Moore and sister, Gertrude Moore.
