Shirley Darlene (Canarr) Connor

Shirley D. Connor, 85, of Muscatine, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2026, at her home in Muscatine.  Visitation will be held on Monday, April 27, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Muscatine.  Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at the funeral home.  Burial will be held in Greenwood Cemetery.  A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in Shirley's name. Shirley Darlene Canarr was born on June 23, 1940, in Muscatine, Iowa the daughter of Manferd Oscar and Florence Marie (Pace) Canarr.  On June 10, 1957, Shirley was united in marriage to Jack L. Connor in Muscatine.  She worked at HON.  Shirley was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and enjoyed arts, crafts, puzzles, playing Bingo, attending the Iowa State Fair and visiting the casinos with her son, Dennis.

Shirley will be deeply missed by her children, Steve (Sandy) Connor of Muscatine, Tim (Pam) Connor of Muscatine, Dennis Connor of Muscatine, Darla (Mike) Taylor of Muscatine and Traci (Jeff) Harper of Durant; 11 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and sister, Ruth Ann Brockert of Muscatine.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack; son, Bill Connor; grandsons, Josh Connor and Eric Connor; sister, Patsy Canarr and brother, Jerry Canarr.
