Sheila Dawn (Cutler) Gerard

Sheila D. Gerard, 68, of Muscatine, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2020 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.  A Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date.  A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in Sheila’s name. Sheila Dawn Cutler was born on September 11, 1951 in Muscatine, Iowa, the daughter of Harlan and Mary (Hayes) Cutler.  On November 14, 1970, Sheila was united in marriage to Charles Gerard in Illinois City, Illinois.  Sheila’s life revolved around being a wife, mom and grandma, she loved taking care of her grandchildren. 

Sheila will be deeply missed by her husband, Charles of Muscatine; daughter, Dawn Marie Gerard of Iowa City; son Chuck (Amber) Gerard of Muscatine; grandchildren, Madison, Tanner, Haley and Trey; granddog, Nova; great grandson, Carter; siblings, Larry Cutler of Columbus Junction, Diane (Ed) Peters of Florida, Marv (Lola) Cutler and Harley (Debbie) Cutler all of Columbus Junction, Bob (Kym) Cutler of Washington and Tammy (Casey) Coons of Florida; and several nieces and nephews. 

Sheila was preceded in death by her parents.
