Shawn Morehead

Shawn Morehead, 62, of Muscatine, Iowa passed away on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.  Private family services will be held at a later date.  Online condolences may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.  Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Muscatine are caring for Shawn’s arrangements and his family. 

Shawn Wayne Morehead was born on August 28, 1958 in Muscatine, Iowa, the son of Paul and Beverly Joan (Jarvis) Morehead.  Shawn was a graduate of Rockridge High School.  He was a handy man doing various jobs.  He enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting, riding his bike and watching sports.   Shawn loved spending time with his friends and family and was very gracious of all they did for him.    

Shawn will be deeply missed by his siblings, Cheryl (Larry) Hughes of Moline and Steve Morehead of Muscatine; brother-in-law, Sam Leaver of Muscatine; nieces and nephews, Valerie (Brock) McConchie, Amery Longhurst, Shawn Paul Hedger, Danielle (Patrick) Dickens, Crystal Hedger and Audrey, Doug and Shane Smith; great nieces and nephews; special friends, Jackie Morehead, Nadine Call, Nancy Martin and Bud Young and his cat, Tipsy. 

Shawn was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents and sister, Wendy Morehead Leaver.
