Sharon Millage

Sharon Evelyn Millage, 77, of Muscatine, passed away suddenly on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Unity Point Hospital in Muscatine. A visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. from 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at the Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Muscatine.  A memorial has been established for the family.  Online condolences may be left to the family at www.sandhfuneralservices.com.

Sharon was born March 1, 1945 in Muscatine, Iowa, the daughter of Ellis A. and Marie A. (Wilhelme) McCormick. She was united in marriage to Elmer Millage on June 25, 1994 in Muscatine. Sharon taught Sunday School for ten years and was a member of the Salvation Army. She competed in the Special Olympics in the 40-meter race walk and the 50-meter dash and received several ribbons and medals. She was also a cheerleader for fellow competitors.

She will be dearly missed by her husband, Elmer Millage of Muscatine; children, Kevin VanEst of Maquoketa; Sharlyn (Troy) Plowman of Muscatine, Kimberly (Aaron) Wack of New Boston and Scott Millage of Wapello; grandchildren, Eugene Willroth, Brylee Millage, Kason Willroth, Triston Millage and Skye Willroth; nieces, Emily Garcia and Tori Conston; brothers-in-law, John Crumly, Jerry Millage, Bill Millage and Danny Millage and furry babies, Brewster, Mickey and Teddy bear.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her step-mother, Hazel McCormick; sister, Marie Crumly, brother, Harold McCormick; sister-in-law, Linda Wagner and brothers-in-law, Bobby Millage, Fred Millage and David Millage.
