Sandy J. (Schulz) Throm

Sandy J. Throm, 81, of Muscatine, passed Saturday, November 4, 2023, at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics.  Visitation will be held on Friday, November 10, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Muscatine.  Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at Our Savior Lutheran Church.  Burial will be in the Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery.  Following the committal services, a time of food and fellowship will be held at the church.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Our Savior Lutheran Church in memory of Sandy.  Online condolences may be left at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.

Sandra Jean Schulz was born on July 17, 1942, in Big Island, Illinois the daughter of Willy J. and Bertha (Krenz) Schulz.  She was a graduate of L&M High School.  On December 19, 1964, Sandy was united in marriage to Walter Throm in Wilton.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed painting, cooking, crocheting and working on jig-saw puzzles. 

Sandy will be deeply missed by her daughter, Tiffany (Kevin) Knox of Muscatine; two grandchildren, Jacob (Antonia) Knox of Muscatine and Jonah Knox of Iowa City and two great grandchildren, Kylo and Alora.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Walter; and two brothers: Wilbert Schulz and Frederich Schulz.
