Sandra Kay (LaRue) Stalkfleet

Sandra “Sandy” Stalkfleet, 80, of Muscatine, passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at her home.  A private family graveside will be held in Nichols Cemetery.  A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 4:00 P.M. at the Muscatine American Legion.  Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral and Cremation Services of Muscatine is caring for the family.  Memorials may be directed to the family in memory of Sandy. Sandra Kay Stalkfleet was born on November 14, 1941 in Muscatine, Iowa the daughter of Charles “Sam” and Geraldine “Gerry” (Kisner) LaRue.  On September 12, 1959, Sandy was united in marriage to Jerry Stalkfleet in Muscatine.  Sandy worked for over 30 years for HON Industries.  She was an avid H.S.N. and Q.V.C shopper.  Sandy enjoyed the Christmas holiday and the sound of wind chimes.  She was very kind-hearted and her door was always open for anyone in need.  Her joy stemmed from being surrounded by her children and grandchildren.  The love she had for her family was beyond measure. 

Sandy will be deeply missed by her husband, Jerry; children, Vista Stalkfleet of Muscatine, Darrin Stalkfleet of Muscatine, Marci Stalkfleet (Patti Perales) of Muscatine and Chad Stalkfleet (Wendy Hein) of Letts; grandchildren, Chase (Tiffany) Powell, Damon (Hannah) Stalkfleet, Christopher Timmons, Brittany (Ryan) Timmons and Cheyenne Stalkfleet; several great-grandchildren and many loving family and friends. 

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Dillon Stalkfleet and siblings, Shirley, Dixie, Charles “Sammy, Linda and Joel David “Joey”.
