Sabra Carol (Rock) Swanson

Sabra C. Swanson, 75, of Muscatine, Iowa passed away on July 18, 2022 at Genesis East Medical Center, Davenport.  No visitation or services will be held.  Memorials may be directed to the Muscatine Humane Society in Sabra’s name.  Sympathy notes may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.  Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services is caring for Sabra’s family and the arrangements.

Sabra Carol Rock was born on November 18, 1946 in Muscatine, Iowa, the daughter of Gilbert Carroll and Clara Cumi (Yeager) Rock.  Sabra was a graduate of the Muscatine High School Class of 1965 and obtained her Associate Degree from Muscatine Community College.  On April 25, 1988, Sabra was united in marriage to Robert D. Swanson in Las Vegas, Nevada.  She retired from Grain Processing Corporation in 2000 after many years of employment in the accounting department.   Sabra was an avid animal lover.  She owned and showed quarter horses and trained many obedience and show dogs.  She was a member of the Life Bridge Church in Davenport, Iowa.

Sabra is survived by her siblings,  James Rock of Muscatine, Gilbert ‘Butch” Rock of Wilton and Polly (Bruce) Owens of Muscatine; several nieces and nephews and her Frenchton dog, Mac. 

Sabra was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert in 2014 and sister, Walsie “DeDee” Campbell.
