Ruth Ann (Ayers) Bebb

         Ruth Ann Bebb, 89, of East Moline, Illinois, passed away on Monday, December 27, 2021, at Hope Creek Nursing and Rehab in East Moline.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.  Burial will take place in the Columbus City Cemetery.  A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in memory Ruth.  The Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral and Cremation Service of Columbus Junction is caring for the family and arrangements.  Online condolences may be left at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.       

         Ruth Ann Ayers was born on June 12, 1932, in Columbus Junction, Iowa, the daughter of Glenn and Erma (Warner) Ayers.  Ruth was united in marriage to Lee Bebb on June 10, 1950, in Columbus Junction.  The couple later divorced.  Ruth worked as a cook at the Lone Tree Health Care Center and also at sororities in Iowa City.  She was a member of the Columbus Junction United Methodist Church and while living in Bagley, Iowa she attended Greenbrier Church.  Ruth was also a member of Eastern Star, White Shrine, Rebekahs and the Porkette’s.  She enjoyed her flowers, cooking, knitting and sewing.

         Ruth will be deeply missed by her children, Leana Cox of Prescott, Iowa, Rose Bebb of Prophetstown, Illinois, Thelma (Carl) Roloff of Aledo, Illinois and David (Diane) Bebb of New London, Iowa; daughter-in-law, Teresa Bebb of Perry, Iowa; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, step- great grandchildren and great-great grandchild and sister, Jean Turner of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa.

         Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Robert Bebb; two brothers; two sisters and one grandchild.
