Robin Phillips

Robin Phillips, 68, of Grandview passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2025 at Washington County Hospital.  A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at Cedar River Ranch in Pine Hall, 2798 Casey Avenue, Letts, Iowa.    Online condolences may be left at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.  Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Columbus Junction is assisting the family.

Robin Renee Phillips was born on December 24, 1956 in Muscatine, the daughter of Sherdie Sr. and Wilma V. (Galbraith) Phillips.  Robin attended L&M High School and later went on to Muscatine Community College.  She worked at the Muscatine County Courthouse as the first deputy treasurer.  She had served on the Letts Public Library Board and Youth League in Letts. She enjoyed fishing, crossword puzzles and traveling to Blair Creek, Missouri to visit her cousins. 

Robin will be deeply missed by her children, Lee (Nicole) Salek of Grandview and Kristy (Eric) Hearn of Letts; grandchildren, Katie (Mason) McCulley, Tori Hearn and Emilee Salek; siblings, Sherdie “Buck” Jr (Sue) of Muscatine, Bradley (Cathy) Phillips of Letts, Joyce (John) Coder of Colorado and J. Rosemary (Dennis) Salemink of Omaha and several nieces and nephews. 

Robin was preceded in death by her parents and sister, C. Joan Pogue.
