Roberta K. Yeggy

Roberta Katherine Yeggy, 88, of Riverside, passed away Friday, August 23, 2024 at the Lone Tree Health Care Center.  A funeral mass will be held 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Riverside, where the family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Tuesday morning. Interment will be held at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.  Donations may be made to Moments Hospice in Roberta’s memory. Online condolences may be left at www.sandhfuneralservice.com. Roberta was born October 21, 1935 in Riverside, Iowa, the daughter of Francis and Florence Gertrude (Wadle) Yeggy. She graduated from St. Mary’s High School in Riverside. Roberta was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Iowa City.  

She is survived by her siblings: Juanita Bushman of Iowa City; Bernadette (Daune) Lorack of Lone Tree; and Linda (Tom) Streb of North Liberty; sister-in-law, Evelyn Yeggy of Riverside; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Eldon (Edna) Yeggy, James (Betty) Yeggy, and Merritt Yeggy; and brother-in-law, Kenneth Bushman.
