Rob Howard, 66, of Muscatine, died on Wednesday, February, 26 2025 at his home in Muscatine. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral and Cremation Services of Muscatine. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in memory of Rob. Robert Dean Howard was born on June 3, 1958 in Muscatine, the son of Dennis Howard and Patricia (Hahn) Brockert. Rob was united in marriage to Peggy Coblentz on April 8, 1978 at Musserville Church in Muscatine. Rob had always worked various jobs-even including construction. Throughout the years, he also owned several businesses such as a tanning salon and tattoo shop. He retired from ES 3 Logistics in Muscatine. Rob enjoyed racing, beginning with Go-Karts, then Mod Lights- winning the Mod Light Championship in Blue Grass in 2004 and finished his journey racing Late Models. He also enjoyed restoring classic cars in his free time. Most of all, he loved being with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Rob will be deeply missed by his wife, Peggy of Muscatine; children, Dorinda Marshall of Walcott; Candace (Lofton) Morgan of Muscatine, Jacob Howard of Muscatine; grandchildren, Miranda (Morgan) Jones, Rex Burke, Jessica (DJ Tomsha) Marshall, Nathaniel Nunez and Tavion Kelly; great-grandchildren, Wylie, Colton, Zaharie and Martaevies “Mari”; siblings, Cindy, Julie, Angie, Ray, Todd, and Lindsay.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Robert and brother, Craig.
