Robert F Strabala, 58 of Coralville, formerly of Riverside, passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2026. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at the Riverside Casino Event Center from 1 – 3:30pm. Robert Francis Strabala was born on July 8, 1967, in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of John Charles and Phyllis Jean (Blomme) Strabala. He was a 1985 graduate of Highland High School. Robert moved to Arizonia in 2006 and worked for the Marriott Corporation at Camelback Golf Course in Scottsdale, Arizona. Robert returned to the Riverside area in 2025. Robert was a friend to all and will be greatly missed but always remembered.
Robert will be deeply missed by his mother, Phyllis Strabala of Riverside and siblings, Cindy (Brian) Michel of Riverside, John (Julie) Strabala of Riverside, Richard Strabala of North Liberty, Russell (Tiffany) Strabala of Andover, Minnesota, Jean (Randy) Patton of Coggan, Colleen Strabala (Eric Hodgson) of Salt Lake City, Utah, Marvin Strabala of Marion, Joanne (Mike) Brennan of Charlotte, North Carolina, Mark Strabala of Waterloo, Cecilia Strabala of Mesa, Arizona, Michael Strabala (Samson Elsbernd) of Washington, D.C. and Matthew Strabala (Brett Thomas) of Austell, Georgia.
Robert was preceded in death by his father, John “Jack”, grandparents, and nephew Collin Strabala.
