Rebecca "Beccy" Boysel

Rebecca “Beccy” Boysel, 70, of Muscatine passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at her home.  Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Muscatine.   A memorial has been established in Beccy’s name.    Sympathy notes may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.

Rebecca Marie Doak was born on July 29, 1952 in Muscatine, Iowa the daughter of Charles and Margaret (Ross) Doak.   Beccy graduated from Muscatine High School in 1971.  On June 24, 1972, Beccy was united in marriage to Gary Boysel at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa.  Beccy had worked for Walgreens Restaurant, MUSCO and Heinz in her early years before staying at home to raise her children.  Beccy enjoyed camping, swimming, watching Hallmark movies, NCIS, Rosanne, playing sports with her children, cooking for her family and was extremely proud of her boys. 

Beccy will be deeply missed by her husband, Gary; sons, Adam Boysel of Muscatine, Chad (Cara) Boysel of Muscatine, Gary “Pete” (Kristan) Boysel of Davenport and Cody Boysel of Muscatine; grandchildren, Gairren, Alexa, Paishlynn, Treysen, Gabrielle, Angelina and Wyatt; great- grandchildren, Avalynn; step-great-grandson, Alex; brothers and sisters; friends, Jeff and Robin Bivens; Melissa Casteel and Rolando and Maria Gonzales. 

Beccy was preceded in death by her parents.
