Randy Douglas Mohnssen

Randy D. Mohnssen, 60, Muscatine Iowa, passed away peacefully on February, 10, 2020 at the Clarissa Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf, IA after a courageous battle with cancer. A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, February 22nd at the Riverview Center in Muscatine, Iowa from 11:00 am to 2:00pm. Please join in celebrating Randy’s life with his family for a light lunch and refreshments.  A Memorial may be made to the family or to the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House.  Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services is assisting the family with arrangements. 

Randy was born on August 8, 1959 in Muscatine County, the son of Walter “Jack” Mohnssen and Arlene Marie Miller. Randy was known for enjoying a good cup of coffee and a conversation with one of his many friends. 

He will be missed by his daughter, Randi (Trevor) Woodward of Cedarburg WI, his sons Gregg (Jen) Mohnssen of Roscoe, IL, and Jacob (Jordan) McFadon of Tipton, IA; 4
grandchildren, Jack and Claire Woodward, Lola and Lucy Mohnssen, and he was looking forward to the addition of Jacob and Jordan’s baby this summer. Survivors also include his brother Kevin (Patty) Mohnssen of Ankeny, IA and his sister Sheree (Rick) Garner of Beaverton, OR. He will also be missed by his special friends Sue and Sherri.

He was predeceased in death by his parents and two brothers, Dennis Dean and Gregory Allen Mohnssen.
