Randy Lee Ford

Randy Lee Ford, 46, of Wapello passed away on Monday March 27 at Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in West Burlington, IA. A failed heart took him from this world much too young.  A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at the Morning Sun Community Center. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. until service time. Randy was born September 8, 1976, in Washington, Iowa, the son of Ernest Ford and Susan (Hora) Morgan. He was a jack of all trades. He enjoyed working on vehicles, riding four wheelers, and having fun. Known fondly to those close to him as “Ralph the Mouth,” he always had a story to tell. All you had to do was ask him.

Those left to honor his memory are his fiancé, Sara Wells; father, Ernest Ford of Letts; his children, Lucas Ford of Lillington, NC; Jacob Ford, Baylee Dominguez, Jessa Ford, Josie Ford and Jaret Ford all of Morning Sun; brothers, Larry (Lindsey) Ford of Oakville and Jerry Ford of Letts, stepfather, Todd Morgan of Muscatine; grandmother, Mildred Hora of Muscatine and many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother; grandfathers, Leo Hora and George Ford and grandmother, June Clayton.
