Phyllis (Hahn) Ganzer

Phyllis Ganzer, 82, of Muscatine passed away on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at her home.    Private family services will be held.  Online condolences may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com. Phyllis Hahn was born on November 17, 1938 in Muscatine, the daughter of Leonard and Mary (Jackson) Hahn.  Phyllis in her younger years worked as a CNA and then went on to work at Hy-Vee in the deli for over 30 years.  She enjoyed bargain shopping; especially going to Goodwill and also tending to her plants and flowers – she had quite the green thumb.  Her greatest love was the time she spent with her children and grandchildren.  

Phyllis will be deeply missed by her children, Bill (Lorraine Hinkhouse) Ganzer of Eliza, Illinois, Dan (Lisa) Ganzer of Muscatine, Mike (Tina) Ganzer of Muscatine, Cynthia (Brad) Derry of Bagley, Iowa and Brenda Allen of Larned, Kansas; daughter-in-law, Tammy Ganzer; 15 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; half-brother, Ted Toborg of Joy, Illinois and special companion, Kenny Mortenson of New Boston, Illinois. 

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents; son, Jim Ganzer; grandson, Kayden Starr; siblings, Sonny Hahn, Herbie Hahn, Bernadine Faust, Dottie Woolsey and Nancy Nelson and her dog, Molly.
