Pauline K. (Parker) Hart

Pauline K. Hart, 100, of Muscatine, passed away Saturday, November 12, 2022 at her residence. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, November 18, 2022 at the Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Muscatine. Burial will take place at Greenwood Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com. A memorial has been established for Pauline’s family.

Pauline was born November 11, 1922 in Muscatine, Iowa, the daughter of Otto and Kathryn (Rushton) Parker. She graduated from Muscatine High School. She was united in marriage to Lindley B. Hart on January 1, 1941 in Missouri.

Pauline worked as a secretary to the board of directors at the Muscatine Community School District. She was a former member of the Eagles Club and the Moose Lodge. She enjoyed golfing and swimming and she loved butterflies and dogs.

Pauline will be greatly missed by her grandson, Daniel C. Steckman of Muscatine; and great-grandchildren: Jonathon W. Steckman of Aledo; Justus M. Steckman of Muscatine; and Katelynn N. Steckman of Muscatine.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Karen Shirlee Hart; and brother, Otto Parker, Jr.
