Paula (Schubick) Martinson

Paula S. Martinson, 62, passed away peacefully at the University of Iowa hospital surrounded by her family on Friday, September 19, 2025.  Per her wishes, she has been cremated. All family and friends are invited to celebrate her life on Sunday, October 12, 2025 from 1:00-4:00 pm at the American Legion in Muscatine.  Online condolences may be left at www.sandhfuneralservice.com  Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services is in care of the arrangements.

Paula Sue Schubick was born on May 11, 1963 in Muscatine to Janet (Anson) and Otto H. Schubick Jr.. She married John Martinson on July 26, 2008 and shared 17 years of happy marriage. She enjoyed being at home and spending time with her family.

She will be deeply missed by her husband, John; children Amber Cozad Ketelsen of Muscatine, Cory (Sarah) Cozad of Atkins, Henry (Alisha) Martinson and Matt (Laura) Martinson of Marion;  siblings, Lynn (Denny) Latimer, Mike (Pam), Dave (Melody) and Delbert (Juli), 15 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and several extended family members/close friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers, Steve, Doug, Randy, and Clyde.
