Paul D. Crossley, Jr. 94, formerly of Columbus Junction, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at Premier Estates of Muscatine.

Paul was born August 25, 1928 in Gladwin, Iowa, the son of Paul D., Sr. and Grace M. (Wilson) Crossley. He attended Old Clifton and Columbus Junction schools. Paul served honorably in the United States Army during WWII and the Korean Conflict. He married Mary L. Choate in Colorado Springs, Colorado. They later divorced.
Paul was formerly the part owner of Hunts Meat Locker. He drove a semi, farmed and was the owner of his own Mobile Home Service for several years before retiring. He loved traveling and never met a stranger.
He is survived by two sons: Bill (Candis) Crossley of Tucson, AZ; and Brian Crossley of Letts, IA; four daughters: Becky (Rick) Kirk of Conesville, IA; Barbara Griffith of Letts, IA; Brenda Crossley and Belinda Crossley, both of Columbus Junction, IA; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, JoAnn Vanklootwyk of Knoxville, IA; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; maternal and paternal grandparents; son, Bob Crossley; daughter, Betty Crossley Truitt; one brother; and one sister.
