Patricia Ann (Strause) Yetter

Patricia Ann Yetter, 84, of Muscatine passed away on Friday, May 9, 2025 at Genesis East Medical Center in Davenport.  Graveside Service will be 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at Greenwood Cemetery.   A memorial has been established for the Muscatine Humane Society in Pat’s name.  Sympathy notes may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com. Patricia Ann Yetter was born on September 13, 1940, in Muscatine the daughter of Harvey and Lucille (Batchelor) Strause.  On April 3, 1960, Pat was united in marriage to Charles Yetter in Muscatine.  Pat began working at Huttig Manufacturing and then went on to retire from HON Industries.  In her retirement, Pat along with Charles were the managers of the towers in Muscatine.  Pat enjoyed bowling, fishing, painting, playing BINGO, going shopping for clothing and jewelry.  She was a former member of the MOOSE and she attended Calvary Church during the holidays.   Above everything Pat enjoyed spending time with her family and her cat, Casper.

Pat will be deeply missed by her children, Beth (Vic) Miller of Muscatine, Cindy (Gary) VeDepo of Muscatine, Joyce (Mike) Schmelzer of Muscatine, Chuck Jr. (Jennifer) Yetter of Muscatine and Shelly (Steve) Crew of East Moline, Illinois; 16 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and brother, Wayne (Debbie) Strause of Muscatine. 

Pat was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles on May 3, 2016; grandchildren, Jacob Kirk and Amanda Boots; siblings, Dennis Strause, Judy Wagner, Nancy Overson and Linda Hazen and her two dogs, Lucy 1 and Lucy 2.
