Patricia F. (Wehage) Patrick

Patricia F. Patrick, 84, of Wapello, Iowa passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2021, at her home surrounded by her family.  A private Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date with inurnment in the Wapello Cemetery.  A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in memory of Patricia.  Sympathy notes may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.  The Snyder and Hollenbaugh Funeral and Cremation Services of Wapello is caring for Patricia’s family.

Patricia Francis Wehage was born on April 19, 1936, in Pontiac, Michigan the daughter of Clarence Carl and Lucile Clementine (Wilson) Wehage.  Patricia was a graduate of Sperry High School and then attended Nurse’s Training School where she received her R.N. Degree.  On March 17, 1957, Patricia was united in marriage to Joseph Patrick in Sperry.  Patricia was active in nursing until her children were born and then she and her husband owned and operated, Patrick’s True Value in Wapello.  She was a member of the Solid Rock Baptist Church, Study Club in Wapello and Burlington Art Guild.  Patricia volunteered delivering Meals on Wheels and was a talented artist and painter.  She was known for her strong faith and the love she had for her family, especially the grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Patricia will be deeply missed by her children, James Duane Patrick Sr., and wife, Pam of Fort Madison, Iowa, David Joseph Patrick and wife, Lisa of Wapello and Susanne Rene’ Malinoski of Charles City, Iowa; grandchildren Matthew Patrick, Justin (Melissa) Patrick, Brian (Jenifer) Patrick, J.D. Patrick, Joshua (Shannon) Patrick, James Hale, Sierra (Cory) Buchholz, Christian Brewer, Aundrea (Blair) Humiston and Skyler Patrick; 11 great grandchildren; siblings, Norine Hankenmeier of LaMotte, Roma Feltz of Sperry and Roger (Patricia) Wehage of Chillicothe, Illinois and sister-in-law, June Wehage of Sperry.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joseph on November 16, 2004; two brothers, Irvin Wehage and Will Wehage and her dog, Fritz.
