Patricia “Pat” K. Douglas, 74, of Winfield, passed away on Monday, March 3, 2025 at the Henry County Health Center. Cremation rites have been facilitated at the Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Winfield. Pat will be laid to rest near her family in Letts Cemetery at a later date and a celebration of life will be held. A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in Pat’s name. Patricia Kay Foster was born on December 3, 1950 in Muscatine, Iowa, the daughter of John Kenneth and Violet Jean (Axtell) Foster. Pat had been united in marriage to Richard Ash. Following her separation from Richard, she was later married to Leland Douglas and the couple also later separated. She then married Bill McDannald, who preceded her in death in December of 2008. Pat currently attended the Victory Christian Center in Columbus Junction. She enjoyed the outdoors, gardening and sewing in general; although she will be most remembered for crafting many beautiful quilts.
Pat is survived by her daughters, Linda Ash of Kansas City, Missouri, Jeanine Ash of Arizona and Samantha Douglas of Wichita, Kansas; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren and siblings, Alvin “ Joe” (Beth) Foster of Winfield, Ronald Douglas, Peggy (Steve Wheeler) Hoffman, June Coyle, Karen (Robert) Ash, Jimmy Foster, John (Debbie) Foster, Jeff (Laura) Foster and Michael (Suzette) Foster all of Muscatine.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Roger Douglas and sister, Christine Foster.
