Pamela Sue (Elliot) Rosauer

Pamela Rosauer, 68, of Wapello, passed away on Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at her home in Wapello.  Private family services will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the funeral home in memory of Pamela.  The Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral and Cremation Service of Wapello is caring for the family.  Sympathy notes may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.

Pamela Sue Elliot was born on August 30, 1952, in Burlington, IA the daughter of Dewey Lee and Patsy Ann (Campbell) Elliot.  She was a member of the Wapello High School Class of 1970 and later received her Cosmetology Degree.   Pamela was united in marriage to Dave Rosauer on January 6, 1971 at the Methodist Church in Wapello.  She worked at Marcella Erwin’s Highway Pantry, Challenge Furniture, Lonna’s Café, Sue’s Wheat and Rye Boutique, Wicker Hall and Tangles Hair Salon.  Pamela was a charter member of Solid Rock Baptist Church in Wapello.  In her younger years she was a runner, doing numerous 5k, 10k and half-marathons.  Pamela was a seamstress and made a lot of her own clothes.  She enjoyed fashion, fishing and was very artistic.  Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially attending her grandchildren’s events.

Pamela will be deeply missed by her husband, Dave of Wapello; children, Jamie Rosauer of Burlington and Karlee (Michael) Howard of Morning Sun; grandchildren, Lydia Allen-Barnes and Trace Howard; god children, Cassidee and Raimee Dossett; and sister, Sherri (Sven) Kress of Malcomb, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson, Carter Howard and sister, Vonnie Alexander.
