Neva (Connolly) Schofield

Neva Schofield, 87, of Davenport, formerly of Wapello and Morning Sun passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2025 in Davenport.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  Online condolences may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservices.com.  Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Wapello is caring for Neva’s family and her arrangements.

Neva Connolly was born on March 3, 1938 in Burlington, the daughter of Wallace and Selma (Coppes) Connolly.  Neva was a graduate of Wapello High School.  She worked for many years at Pallister Pallet and most recently at S & J Tube.  Neva enjoyed driving race cars and demolition derby cars, cross word puzzles and eating her snacks. 

Neva will be deeply missed by her sons, Wallace Marek (Jamie) of Kalona and Guy Marek of Davenport; grandchildren, Amanda Worthington, Samantha Marek, William M. Marek, Dokota Marek, Josephine Marek, Jason Marek and Justin Marek; great-grandchildren, Emily Lehnhausen, Jacob Teel and Justice Teel; great-great grandchildren, Hope T. Lehnhausen and Samuel J. Thierer; siblings, Judy (Richard) Robertson of Wapello, Shirley (Larry) Bickford of Wapello and Jim Sr. (Kathy) Connolly of Wapello and several nieces and nephews. 

Neva was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, William Marek and one brother, Arvie Connolly.
