Michael "Mike" Watkins

Michael “Mike” Watkins, 67, of Muscatine, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 17, 2023 at his residence. A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, November 25, 2023 at the American Legion, 110 South Houser Street, Muscatine from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with military honors at 5:00 p.m. Sympathy notes may be left at www.sandhfuneralservice.com. Michael Shawn Watkins was born April 16, 1956 in Fresno, California, the son of Lorraine (Young) Shiech. He was united in marriage to Victoria Shaw on December 21, 1985 in Muscatine. Mike worked as a carpenter most of his life and owned his own construction business. Later in life, he owned and operated his own truck driving and delivery service company. He served honorably in the United States Navy.

He will be deeply missed by his wife, Vicki; sons: Michael, Matthew and Mitchell; grandchildren: Baylee, Ayana, Marcus and Ryker; siblings: Bonita, Maryann, and Tim; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother; two brothers, David and Cliff; and family friend, Rhonda.
