Michael Hulet, 62, of Wapello passed away on Monday, December 22, 2025 at Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice House in West Burlington. Private family services will be held at a later date. Michael Kevin Hulet was born on March 24, 1963, in Stronghurst, Illinois, the son of Doren and Dora Hulet. Following high school Michael enlisted in the United States Army and proudly served his country in Desert Storm. He was truck driver for 15 years and a steel worker for SSAB in Blue Grass. He was a part of a biker’s club; enjoyed traveling and was an avid cook.

Michael is survived by his son Kevin; grandson, Danny and step-son, David Sears.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents.
