Michael Kevin Begey

Michael Begey, 66, of Muscatine passed away on Monday, April 26, 2021 at his home.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials may be made to a favorite charity in memory of Michael.    Sympathy notes may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.  Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Muscatine is caring for the family. 

Michael Kevin Begey was born on April 17, 1955 in Muscatine, Iowa the son of John and Alleyne (Meyer) Begey.  Michael was a 1973 graduate of Muscatine High School.  He was employed at HWH for many years.  In his partial retirement he worked for Begey Construction.  Michael enjoyed working on cars and motorcycles.  Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

Michael was the loving father of Heather (Joe Stover) Begey; adoring grandfather of Nevaeh, Cerinity and Essance and devoted companion to Tammy Haeft.  Michael is also survived by his mother, Alleyne; brother, Mark (Kathy) Begey; their children, Mark Jr. and Kiley; brother, Eric Begey and his children, Brad, Tyler and Rachel; niece, Sarah Begey and nephew, Bob Begey.   

Michael was preceded in death by his father, John Begey; brother, Tim Begey and sister-in-law, Debbie.
