Melinda Charlene (Buline) Tripses

Melinda Tripses, 43, of Lone Tree, passed away Friday, July 3, 2020, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.  Private graveside services will be held at a later date.  Visitation will be Tuesday, July 7, 2020, from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the Snyder and Hollenbaugh Funeral and Cremation Services of Lone Tree.  A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in memory of Melinda. Melinda Charlene Buline was born on January 14, 1977, in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of Lyle and Linda (Harned) Buline.  She was a 1995 graduate of Lone Tree High School and received her cosmetology degree from La James International College.  Melinda was united in marriage to Brad Tripses on April 29, 1999 in Iowa City.  She had owned her own babysitting service, hair salon and had worked as a bartender for several years.  Melinda enjoyed keeping in touch with friends and family on Facebook, babysitting, going on golf cart rides, spending time with her friends and most of all, being with her three boys.

Melinda will be deeply missed by her three children, Levi (Deanna) Tripses of Ainsworth, Dylan (Kyah) Tripses and Cale Tripses, both of Lone Tree; parents, Lyle and Linda Buline of Lone Tree; and grandmother, Shirly Buline of Lone Tree.

Melinda was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather; maternal grandparents and cousin, Lynnel Thomas and dear friend, Robb Chamberlain.
