Mary Ann Mills

Mary Ann Mills, 86, of Muscatine, passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at Lutheran Living due to complications from the Covid-19 virus. A celebration of life for Mary Ann will be 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at the Muscatine American Legion.  Private family graveside services will be held in Memorial Park Cemetery.   Sympathy notes may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.  Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Muscatine, formerly The Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home is caring for Mary Ann’s arrangements and her family. 

Mary Ann was born on July 10, 1933 in Port Huron, Michigan, the daughter of Jacob and Helen Bieber.  On May 20, 1951, Mary Ann was united in marriage to Donald J. Mills in Muscatine.  Mary Ann was a homemaker and wonderful cook, especially known for her delicious ham and gravy, chicken and noodles and chocolate chip cookies.   She enjoyed square dancing with her friends and husband Don and she also loved doing crafts with her grandchildren.  She also loved watching and supporting her grandchildren in all their sports activities they did.  

Mary Ann will be deeply missed by her children, Connie (Michael) Clemens of Muscatine and Bruce (Darlene) Mills of Arizona; five grandchildren, Amber (Mariah Witsman) Clemens, Amanda (Alex) Bradley, Ashley Clemens, Matt and Rebecca Mills and their mother, Molly and Logan Sanchez and Seth Sanchez. 

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald Mills; one sister-in-law, Eva Mills; three brothers-in-laws, Robert Doty, Robert Mills and Richard Mills and three nephews, Jim Mills, Dennis Mills and Tom Mills.
