Mary Martha (Bloyd) Wilson

Mary Wilson, 89, of Muscatine, passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022, at Trinity Muscatine. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 20, 2022, at Hillcrest Baptist Church.    Burial will follow the services at Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the church. Mary Martha Bloyd was born on January 29, 1932, in Keokuk, Iowa, the daughter of Ralph and Lily (Roth) Bloyd.  She was united in marriage to William E. Wilson on August 19, 1951 in Muscatine.  Mary worked at Moore Business Forms in Iowa City for many years.  She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Iowa City.  Mary enjoyed going to Branson with her husband, going out to eat and baking.  Most of all she loved spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids.

Mary will be deeply missed by her husband, William E. Wilson of Muscatine; son, William R. (Sharon) Wilson of Atalissa; daughter-in-law, Glenna Wilson of Hollister, Missouri; grandchildren, Steve (Emily) Wilson, Kevin (Deven) Wilson, Cindy Wilson, Cassandra Moore and Scott Wilson; great-grandchildren, Reese, Cash, Saylor, Chase and Violet Wilson.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; son, Robert L. Wilson and sister, Margaret Eggenburg.
