Martha L. Ford, 65, of Lone Tree, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2026, at the Bird House in Iowa City, surrounded by family. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at the Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Lone Tree. Burial will be in the Lone Tree Cemetery. Following the committal service, a time of food and fellowship will be held at the Lone Tree American Legion. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Martha’s family. Martha Lea Robison was born on October 24, 1960, in Little Rock, Arkansas, the daughter of Donald Raymond and Anna Lea (Jennings) Robison. On May 7, 1988, Martha was united in marriage to David Allen Ford in Hickory Plains, Arkansas. She was a homemaker and child care provider. Martha enjoyed feeding the birds, driving around looking at wildlife, fishing, hunting in her youth, flowers, gardening and attending sporting events, but most of all, she loved to spend time with her family.
Martha will be deeply missed by her husband, David of Lone Tree; her children, Arrion (Laura) Ford of Lone Tree, Joseph “Joey” Ford of Lone Tree and James “Chris” Ford of Lone Tree; grandchildren, Alyson, Travis and Levi; sister, Sheila Hankins of Cross Road, Arkansas; brother, Andy (Angie) Hankins of England and special friend who was like a sister, Sharon Taylor of Oklahoma.
Martha was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Tracy Robison.
