Mark Kallenberger was born on February 19, 1953 in Muscatine, Iowa, the son of Mark Edward Kallenberger and Darlene Eis Kallenberger. Mark was a graduate of Muscatine High School. He worked as a truck driver for more than twenty years, hauling over the road for S.J. Smith of Davenport, Rolling Oats of Muscatine, and other local companies.
While he always enjoyed fishing, camping and time spent outdoors, the single greatest passion of Mark's life was music. He learned to play the trumpet while still in elementary school, the six and twelve-string guitar as a young man, and the fiddle as an adult.
Mark will be deeply missed by his son, Chad Kallenberger of Maryland; his daughter-in-law Beth Kallenberger; his grandchildren Verity, Elias and Bennett, and his siblings, Randy Kallenberger of Camanche, Iowa and Teresa Poole of Gadsden, Alabama.
Mark was preceded in death by his father, Mark Kallenberger and his mother, the late Darlene Munson of Muscatine.
