Mark Hargrave

Mark Hargrave, 50, of Grandview, passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics following a short illness.  A Celebration of Life for Mark will be on Friday, January 9, 2026 from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the American Legion in Muscatine.  Burial will be at a later date.  A memorial has been established for the family.  Sympathy notes may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.

Mark Lee Hargrave was born on July 22, 1975 in Muscatine, Iowa, the son of Dennis and Lisa (Newton) Hargrave.  Mark graduated from L&M High School in the class of 1994.  Mark was united in marriage to Janean Stineman, and the couple later divorced.  Mark later married Jenny Wagg on September 1, 2024 in Mediapolis and along with Janean’s new husband, Rich, they would all come together in raising two beautiful girls, Abby and Kaydence.  Mark had been working at ES3 Logistics in Muscatine as a fork lift operator.  He enjoyed golfing, spending time with his girls and family, playing bags, going on evening golf cart rides with Jenny and watching sports on TV - especially the Cubs, football and NASCAR.  Above all else, Mark was proudest of his girls and watching them grow.  He cherished his unique bond with both; bonding over Abby’s love of music and Kaydence’s love of history.

Mark will be deeply missed by his wife, Jenny Hargrave of Grandview; daughters, Abby and Kaydence Hargrave; his mother, Lisa Hargrave of Muscatine; sister, Tracy Hargrave of Muscatine, sister, Therisa Moore of Grandview and her children, Cameron, Brandon and Jack; in-laws, Randy and Cindy Wagg; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ben and Amanda Wagg and their children, Colton and James; and Mark’s beloved cat, Betty.

Mark was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Hargrave; brother, Matthew Hargrave and aunts and uncles.
