Marjorie Mae (Staley) Clark

Marjorie M. Clark, 100 years and 6 months old, of Fruitland, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at her home. Graveside services will be held Friday, July 31, 2026 at 1:30 p.m. in Greenwood Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held Friday, July 31, 2026 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the American Legion in Muscatine.  In lieu of flowers, memorial can be directed to the Fruitland Fire Department in Marjorie’s name.  Online Condolences may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com. Marjorie Mae Staley was born on December 24, 1925 in Brooklyn Township, Wisconsin, the daughter of Delbert (Bert) and Edith (Lewis) Staley. Marjorie graduated with the class of 1943 from Brooklyn High School. On February 14, 1947, Marjorie was united in marriage to Royal (Buster) Clark in Brooklyn, Wisconsin.  Marjorie was a homemaker most of her life and was devoted to her family.   In the 1980’s, Marjorie became a licensed real estate agent.  She also served many years as the secretary for the United Methodist Women’s group.  Marjorie enjoyed the outdoors, gardening-especially growing tomatoes, and in her later years loved doing crossword puzzles.

Marjorie will be deeply missed by her children; Nadine (Charles) Brockert of Muscatine, Bruce (Merna) Clark of The Villages, Florida, Nancy Clark of Muscatine, Andrew (Shirley) Clark of Crawfordsville, Kenlyn Clark of Waterville, Maine; nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter; Marcia Clark; two granddaughters and siblings, Major Charles Staley, Helen Brown and Ruth Elsner
