Marilyn Louise (Feldman) Lafever

Marilyn Lafever, 88, of Muscatine, passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at Lutheran Living in Muscatine.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral and Cremation Services in Muscatine.  Following the services, burial will be held in Drury Reyolds Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.  Memorials may be directed to Drury Reynolds Cemetery in memory of Marilyn.    Online condolences may be left at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.

Marilyn Louise Feldman was born on January 1, 1936 in Muscatine, the daughter of Walter and Laura (Dungan) Feldman.  On August 31, 1958, she was united in marriage to Joe Lafever.  Marilyn worked as a nurse for many years.  After her retirement she was a member of the Hospital Women’s Auxiliary.  She enjoyed traveling for cattle shows and sales and life on the farm with her husband.  Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

Marilyn will be deeply missed by her sons, Matt (Dee) Lafever and Jim (Briana) Lafever, both of Joy, IL; grandchildren, Barry (Alison) Lafever, Jacob Lafever, Logan (Brittany) Lafever; great-grandson, Kade; sisters, Janet Kistler of Muscatine and Diane (Doug) Hessman of Illinois City.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Keith and Glenn Feldman.
