Loralie M. (Gerot) Dyer

Loralie M. Dyer, 61, of Iowa City, passed away on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.  Private family services will be held at a later date with burial in the Mount Olivet Cemetery.  Online condolences for the family may be sent to www.sandhfuneralservice.com.  The Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Riverside is caring for Loralie’s family and arrangements.

Loralie Michelle Gerot was born on February 7, 1964, in Iowa City, Iowa the daughter of Cleo and Ethel (Hamilton) Gerot.  Loralie resided at the Iowa City Rehab and Health Center for the last 14 years.  She enjoyed music, puzzles and reading the newspaper cover to cover. 

Loralie is survived by her children, Trace Dyer and Megan Muller and her siblings, LaVonne (Curt) Benskin, Joe Gerot, Lorrainne (Mike) Curry, John (Robin) Gerot and Susie McKenna.

Loralie was preceded in death by her parents.
