Lois L. (Lawrence) Parker

Lois L. Parker, 79, of Muscatine, passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City.  A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in memory of Lois. Sympathy notes may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.

Lois Louise Lawrence was born on April 1, 1946, in Muscatine, Iowa, the daughter of Jacob E. and Emma Orinda (Thuman) Lawrence.  On July 9, 1966, Lois was united in marriage to Merle Parker in Aledo, Illinois.  She was a babysitter for many years.  Lois visited residence of Muscatine Senior Resources and enjoyed word search puzzles and cross stitching, but most of all, she loved to spend time with her family. 

Lois will be deeply missed by her children, Robert W. Parker of Wapello, Jacob E. Parker of Muscatine and Sandra S. Weis of Wapello; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and brother, Gary Lawrence of Fruitland. 

Lois was preceded in death by her parents; husband, grandson, Cody Weig and brother, Jacob Lawrence, III.
