Linda Marlene (Kraft) Smith

Linda Smith, 77, of Walcott, passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2026 at UnityPoint Health-Trinity Muscatine.  No services will be held at this time.  The Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Muscatine is handling the arrangements. Linda Marlene Kraft was born May 21, 1949 in Davenport, the daughter of Wayne and Valerie (Best) Kraft.  On July 26, 1969 she was united in marriage to Steve Smith. He preceded her in death in 2012.

 Linda will be deeply missed by her two sons, Shawn (Lisa) Smith of Muscatine and Shane (Stefanie) Smith of Walcott; grandchildren, Ariel (Nik) Durham and Taylor Smith, all of Davenport; Tyler Smith and Kyle Smith, both of Walcott; great-grandchildren, Paytyn, Hunter, Ninabell and Josephine; brothers, Wayne (Donna) Kraft of Davenport, Rich (Carol) Kraft of Dale, Wisconsin, Jerry (Marsha) Kraft of Andalusia, IL, Scott (Diana) Kraft of Flora Vista, NM; sisters, Gloria Henninger of Davenport, Joni (Cal) Becker of Monroe, NE; many nieces and nephews and her Sewing Club friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
